Atlases that only have maps printed on one side of the paper are uncommon. They are more expensive to make and often get pulled apart to sell the maps individually.
The west included the following provinces and territories: British Columbia, Alberta, Assinaboia, Saskatchewan, Athabaska, Manitoba and Keewatin.
