Where do you find your maps, globes, atlas and stuff? 
I stop at all sorts of second-hand stores, garage sales, thrift shops, vintage shops, and cruise Craigslist. Antique stores tend to over-price their globes.
I will only go on eBay if I'm looking for something specific. eBay items tend to be overpriced, and shipping a globe is expensive.
Check out church bazaars in small towns for some treasures.
